I watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas last night with my kids. Only Ron Howard could take a great story and turn it into a drecky movie.
*sigh*
I guess I should be happy my kids missed the sexual innuendos and overall stupidity. LOL. I have to say I did find it quite funny when my oldest son said, "Mom, voice of the Grinch sounds like the guy who was in The Mask." I said, "That's because it's the same guy. Jim Carrey." He said, "Does he act the same in all his movies?"
Oh my. "Yes, he pretty much does."
I guess becoming a cliche doesn't hurt an actor's paycheck.
I sure don't want to become a writing cliche. Hmm. But I can see how easy writing the same characters and plots over and over again can be.
Hmm.
