I'm a member of a writing loop that everyday sends link to different writing and/or publishing related articles. Today, I noticed this link.

Boy, does she have a point. Too many unpublished authors give too much weight to a rejection letter. Sometimes a no is just a no. Or it's a not-right-for-me. Or it's a your-writing-sucks.
But no matter what the no means, why should we let it demoralize us? None of us deserve to be published. Good writing, perserverence, and a little luck usually pave the yellow brick road to OZ.
What I need now is a pair of red sparkly heels.
