It pays to be bold

Remember my mention of the Best First Line contest we're doing over at RomanceDivas.com? Well, we've been in need of a final round judge. Usually my galpal and RD wonder woman Kristen Painter hooks us up with someone divalicious. This time life got busy. So I decided to e-mail an author I met in one of my writing groups. About two years ago, I had e-mailed this author to ask about deep POV and how to write it.
