Things have been a little hectic the last few days so my goal to blog everyday isn't happening. I just don't know how some people do it. My guess is they have a maid.
Over at Romance Divas, we're doing a Best First Line contests. I'm kinda excited about it. In fact, since I've been reading the entries, I'm really pleased I decided to do this contest before we do a Pitch one in June for those divas who are going to the RWA national conference in Dallas in July.
Sometime Monday morning, I'll be posting the First Line entries in the Diva's Workshop forum. Any and all divas and diva-dudes are welcome to judge.
In fact, I'm going to post some of my favorite entries on here.
I wish I could say I have a knack for writing great opening lines. Nope. But my crit partners all seem to have the skill. I am hoping that this contest will help me think more about what goes into making an opening line hooking.
