I'm sure you can tell from the number of posts, I'm not overly diligent about posting. It's not that I don't want to. It's really not that I'm lazy. I'd just rather do other things. Maybe it's that I don't see the fruit of my labor, so why spend the time?
Shouldn't writers be writing?

What's awesome is I recognize some of the gals from RWA Nationals. So I don't feel like a total stranger. I said "stranger" not strange. :-) Anyhoo, they're all inspy writers, and I figure since I'm trying to break into their market, I ought to get to know more of them. They may be strangers, but they're not strange.
Check the blog out. And look for my brilliant comments. Strange, yes, but brilliant all the time except for when I'm not.
Baby #5 cut her first tooth finally. Yippe, Niley!!!! You go, baby girl. I feared you'd be walking before you got a tooth.

Daily Appetizer
Every so often, I write a column for Romance Divas. Well, today I wrote a new bit of ramblings. Soon Jax will have it posted, but in the meantime, here's a snippet to get you interested.
The Best Excuse in the World

“Sorry, I don’t have my receipt. My 9-month-old ate it.”
Oh yes, the customer service chick (actually she was more of a hen) believed me, but why wouldn’t she? I didn’t lie. Niley really ate the receipt for the lightbulbs I was returning. Well, she ate half of it before I reminded her that paper is not one of the seven major food groups.
What’s sad is blaming things on Niley’s need to put everything in her mouth has worked for my older kids too. But I’m a good parent so I figured I needed to come up with a more viable excuse for life’s ills, woes, blunders, failures, and needs to shift the blame. Put down your mocha latte and open your mind to what I’m saying. Work with me. Here it is…
