First, I'm choosing to be in denial about the presidential thing. In fact, I didn't even listen to Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh today because I just didn't want to hear anything about The-Guy-I-Can't-Stand. *sigh*
Second, in worse news...
Best-selling author Michael Crichton passed away after a lengthy, private battle with cancer. Last year my son and I read his book NEXT and had several interesting conversations about it. Here's a great quote from an amazing man who left an amazing mark on society:
“Books aren’t written—they’re rewritten. Including your own. It’s one of the hardest things to accept, especially after the seventh rewrite hasn’t quite done it.”
My prayers go out to his family.
